Meet the Founder

With more than 12 years of tax preparation experience, including multistate tax returns, Najja brings a broad professional background in taxation, insurance, business operations, and team leadership. She combines technical knowledge with an ability to connect with people, understand their priorities, and make complex information easier to navigate.

She holds a Master of Business Administration from Chaminade University of Honolulu and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills, graduating with Honors in the Major. She also earned a Certificate of Achievement in Real Estate from College of the Canyons, adding to her understanding of business, property, and financial decision-making. Najja is working toward obtaining her Enrolled Agent designation in 2027.

During more than a decade with a major retail tax company, Najja advanced from receptionist to Senior Tax Analyst and Office Leader. That progression gave her experience at every stage of the client relationship, from the first conversation to detailed tax analysis and office management. Her background also includes serving as a Tax Returns Examiner with the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Taxation and spending a year with a local CPA firm before creating Extend & Elevate Enterprises LLC.

Najja’s leadership experience includes guiding qualified tax professionals and support employees, coordinating service delivery, improving workflows, and maintaining standards for accuracy, responsiveness, and consistency. Her experience in program administration further strengthened her skills in budgeting, staff coordination, reporting, and operational improvement.

Her work in commercial lines insurance brings an additional perspective on the financial and operational concerns of business owners. Across these roles, she has developed an approach grounded in careful listening, practical problem-solving, and clear communication, helping clients feel understood while keeping the work organized and focused.
